Along with the supply of the proper shops of proper trades’ people, we’ve always thought that farmers’ markets and street markets were the best way to bring farm produce to town. In a world without oil, both the super market and internet shopping must become things of the past. We must revive convivial centres – towns and villages, where ” both work and pleasure are walking distance from everyone’s door”.
Anyway, here are some lovely markets, which we used to attend. Sadly, while Owain recovers from his latest chemotherapy, we have given up our market stalls for at least the whole of 2020.
